The Power Within
Recipe
Frijol Con Puerco

Pork loin (appropriate amount)
2 small ribs
A small amount of black beans
Half an onion
2-4 garlic cloves
Tomato sauce (made from pure tomatoes)
3 Habanero peppers
Half a lime and half an orange
Corn kernels (appropriate amount)
Avocado (appropriate amount)
Coriander (appropriate amount)
Cumin
Salt
Simmer the beans and pork.
In a large stock pot, combine the black beans, ribs, and pork loin(You can cut it into strips first) and three cups of water.
Add the cumin, salt, a habanera, onion, garlic. Simmer over medium low heat for 1 hour.
Make the salsa.
The salsa is a necessary (and traditional) component of this dish, and trust me, you don’t want to miss out!
First you’ll roast the habanero peppers over a fire until the skin is slightly blackened.
Combine the tomatoes, habanero peppers, lime juice, salt, and cilantro in a blender and blend until it’s smooth.
PS
You can just add a little chili! (It's really, really spicy)

Shred the cooked meat and transfer to a bowl.
Dice a half onion into small pieces, put corn kernels in, and some avocado, then a squeeze of lime juice.
Toss this all in a bowl and pour the sauce into a bowl and mix well.
(Before you are ready to serve this dish, you have the option of quickly pan frying the shredded pork to create crispy bits that will be added back to the bowl. )
